2006 SAPPA World 9-Ball Championship Qualifying Tournament

Larkhall's Pat Holtz will be the Scottish representative at this year's World 9-Ball Championships in Manilla in The Phillipines after a dramatic 10-8 final win over Scottish number one, Michael Valentine of Falkirk. In what has been described as one of the best finals ever in a SAPPA tournament, the lead swung back and forth with Holtz completing a very difficult clearance to take the match after Valentine's uncustomary dry break in the 18th and final rack.
